Superbowl Ring Sold for $50,000

Former running back Jamal Lewis sold his 2013 championship ring to a Maryland collector at last Sunday’s auction for $50,820

Lewis retired in 2012 and although not a member of the 2013 championship team, received a championship ring from Raven’s owner Stephen Biscotti after running 7801 yards in his six seasons at the club.

“Jamal is one of the all-time Ravens greats,” said a spokesman from Goldin Auctions, which sold the ring. “This ring was hotly contested and we saw a lot of interest from Ravens fans.”

Jamal filed for bankruptcy three years after he retired in 2012.
