Metaverse technologies will change the way we behave as a society. Our new iteration of society will include Metaverse(s) — metaversive ecosystem platforms that will have NFTs and web 3.0 iteration of technologies at their basis.

If the Metaverse is a new door for Humanity, NFTs are the keys. It is an emerging tunnel for a fast-forward, rapidly developing societal change in virtual reality. The Metaverse(s) will open new roads and create digital interactive worlds. While these started as fantasies, they are quickly becoming our reality.

So what is the Metaverse? The definition is open and signifies something bigger than anything ever done by Humans. For now, we can summarise it as an expanded, communal, virtual interactive, and immersive space, based on various platforms, linking AR and VR — mixed reality, allowing avatars a.k.a.us — you — us, your digital twins — to move from the next-related or not – at a single starting point. This will happen in a digital 360 platform that allows immersive experiences, including gamification, payments, exchanges of digital experiences and reward solutions.

Imagine: Ready Player One meets Second Life and you are being able to interact in a world of your own such as Tim Burton’s “the Nightmare Before Christmas”.

U) UI UX is key for the Metaverse ecosystem. There is no Metaverse without users, only a static, empty virtual space. User experience needs to be as seamless and sophisticated as possible, and AI is key to enabling this.

V) Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated environment with scenes and objects that appear to be real, making the user feel they are immersed in their surroundings. This environment is perceived through a device known as a Virtual Reality headset or helmet.

W) Web 3.0 suggest an open future Internet in which different people and machines can interact with data, ideas, objects and each other without third party involvement. Something that would not be possible without AI and blockchain.

X) eXperiences — the metaverse platforms of the near present future will be using native in-game gamification advertising experiences in new ways that will integrate influencer, social media and interactive data quantified systems. Brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, and Volkswagen all have virtual billboards within video games like Football Manager and Hyper Scape. Platforms like the in-game advertising platform Bidstack revealed that these ads enhanced gameplay realism for 95% of players and increased purchase intent by 12%.

Y) Young and old will be part of the virtual worlds; we will expand into the Metaverse. All ages and social groups will be interacting in the metaverse new iteration of humanity that just started.

Z) Zeppelins and the Metaverse have a lot in common. Like in the age of the vast, ocean-crossing zeppelins, that came to an end in 1937, when the Hindenburg — the largest craft of its type ever built — erupted in flames while landing in New Jersey, we will see a lot of zeppelin Metaverse platforms. But as the technology evolves we, all of us, will definitely be living in Metaverse ecosystems.

This era started during the 1980s and is ongoing. The Digital Revolution is called the beginning of the Information Era. This is the starting point of what we refer to as the digital revolution which began in the second half of the 20th century. Digital revolution example is the adoption and increase of digital computers and digital storage of information. Digital revolution impact has led to the development of more advanced computer systems. Digital Revolution inventions begin with the invention of the Internet and the rise of home computers. It is sometimes called the Third Industrial Revolution. But why has it become a revolution? The characteristic of digital technology is continually changing; it is progressively branching out and boosting productivity across a wide range of sectors and industries. Different events have led to the broad adoption of digital technologies which have changed forever the way we exchange and use information.

The invention of the revolutionary transistor in 1947 can be considered the beginning of the digital revolution timeline. The transistor, which was introduced in 1947, launched the way for the development of advanced digital computers. The government and various other organizations used computer systems during the 1950s and 1960s. Eventually, the World Wide Web was created. In the 1980s the computer became a familiar machine and gradually by the end of the decade, the ability to use computers became a necessity for many jobs. The way continued and by the late 1990s, the Internet became a normal part of most businesses and a part of everyday life for almost half of the American population. Digital Revolution inventions have caused in the decade 2000s that mobile phones were commonly used. In this decade the number of Internet users increased, furthermore, the television started to transition from using analog to digital signals. Digital revolution impact in the 2010s and beyond led to widespread use of the Internet. As a digital revolution example, mobile communication became very important, as nearly 70 percent of the world’s population owns a mobile phone. The connection between Internet websites and mobile gadgets has become a standard in communication. The innovation of tablet computers made it very easier to use the internet is everywhere. This allowed users to consume media and use business applications on their mobile devices, anytime they need.

Digital Revolution inventions started with the invention of the revolutionary transistor in 1947. The most powerful engine of progress is laziness! Thanks to it, multicooker, robotic vacuum cleaners, and automatic dishwashers appeared, which have long taken over household chores. However, these inventions are not autonomous and cannot function without the participation of a person who must control the operation of equipment, buy, and replace consumables.

But what if Homo sapiens becomes an unnecessary link in the processes brought to automatism? These are the prospects for the development of the Internet of Things.

Internet of Things: what is it?

This is the concept of a computing network of physical objects (things) that interact with other devices or with the external environment using embedded technologies. The Internet of Things is a fully automated cycle of devices and systems by connecting them to a wireless network.

The concept of the Internet of Things assumes a machine-to-machine interaction with minimal human participation.

Where is the Internet of Things used?

– Safety. The introduction ofIoT technology into the security system will allow scanning and sending photo and video data, and artificial intelligence will be able to remember and recognize people.

– Household. TV, refrigerator, printer, and the entire smart home system can be brought to full automation. With the IoT connection, a person will get rid of obsessive thoughts (did he forget to close the door or turn off the stove) – all information can be seen in the smartphone and remotely run the unfinished algorithm. A “smart” vacuum cleaner will notify you of the found gold earring, which rolled behind the chair.

– Industry. Production will become automated: monitoring systems will notify about possible problems and malfunctions of equipment, and the client will be able to fulfill the order remotely.

– Medicine. The Internet of Things is needed to personalize devices that help study and monitor a person’s vital signs, and, if necessary, call a doctor.

– Transport. There will be no traffic jams in the world of the Internet of Things – the network of sensors and sensors recognizes the congestion and optimizes the operation of transport channels.

– Retail trade. Conventional stores will once again compete with online boutiques – automatic transmission and analysis of customer information through a POS terminal will be established.

VPN as a solution to the IoT security problem.

The scope of the Internet of Things is limitless: remote control of smart homes, traffic lights, lighting systems for cities and highways, vehicles without the participation of people, in the end, even pacemakers!

There is no doubt that in this new interconnected world of things and people, the danger of hacking, the introduction of malware, and the loss of confidentiality of personal data increases.

With the invention of the Internet of Things, the amount of data for transmission and storage has multiplied. The idea of the Internet of Things was brought up by Kevin Ashton in 1990. The scientist first formulated the term for the introduction of radio frequency tags, the signal of which would cover vast territories. Then the Center for Automatic Identification for the Study of Radio Frequency Identification appeared – this was the beginning of the development of the system.

In 2008, there was a transition from the Internet of people to the Internet of things: more than 6 billion devices with access to the Internet appeared.

Today, less than 1 % of devices worldwide are connected to the Internet of Things, but over time, the number of gadgets will become more and more significant.

It is still difficult to say what the Internet of Things will be like in a dozen years, but there is no doubt that the use of the innovative algorithm will be actively used in the service market and will lead to an increase in the quality of life in all countries of the world, open up promising business opportunities and generally bring a lot of benefits.

Experts predict that by the end of 2021, about 30 billion devices will be used on the Internet of Things, including at least 280 million cars. In addition to household and industrial appliances and vehicles, there will be about 15 million copies of “smart” clothing with access to the World Wide Web.
