Small and Medium Sized Business Recognised in the Spotlight Award

The winners of the inaugural One4all Rewards Spotlight Awards announced

Employees at a number of small to medium sized (SME) businesses have been recognised in the One4all Rewards Spotlight Awards, which recognises talent across a number of industries.

The One4all Rewards Spotlight Awards recognises the UK’s best employees in a number of categories, including industry-focussed Employee of the Year awards recognising talent in different sectors – including tourism and leisure, customer service and logistics, automotive and delivery, amongst others.

Sev Manassian, Systems Developer at Southport’s Fletchers Solicitors was crowned the overall Employee of the Year, said: “I’m really humbled to have not only been selected as the winner of the Professional Services Employee of the Year award but to also be the winner of the overall Employee of the Year award too. I count myself lucky to work within a team who produce such excellent work and allow me to constantly develop not only as an employee, but as a person. I want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me and to Fletchers for their ongoing support.”

The judges felt Sev was an exemplary employee and were impressed by how appreciated he was by his employer, the significant impact he has had on the company, and how he continuously goes over and above to deliver outstanding results and performance.

Three categories also went out to public vote – the Unsung Hero, which celebrates staff who are normally overlooked, was won by Susan McCorkindale from Falcon Support Services in Loughborough.

Rising Star of the Year, to recognise employees under the age of 25, was won by 16 year old Mailen Hughes, apprentice at website and app development agency Dreamr in Manchester, and Team of the Year was won by the HR Direct Team at Mencap.
